cost is in many instances a extremely sturdy indication on how nicely some thing is outfitted. I even have journey with all 3 manufacturers. I hate HP and Dell - Dell being the worst. Apple has some genuine severe high quality recommendations. i'm quite often involved in Apple because of the fact homestead windows XP messes up all the time. If I have been given a dollar every time i've got had to do a sparkling homestead windows reinstall over the final 10 years, i may be prosperous. i offered a mini-Mac awhile in the past which has been very, very sturdy to me, after which I custom outfitted a laptop gaming rig that doesn't get related to the information superhighway to steer clear of XP issues; regardless of the undeniable fact that I quite often run Linux on it.

Wal-mart has a reasonably priced Compaqq system, and they are a part of HP. I have 2 and have had absolutely no problems with either. I work on more Dell systems than any others. Hope this helps

I hate my DELL! 5 weeks after I bought it the Hard Drive Crashed. The one they replaced it with crashed less than 2 years later.
But I was told that it was the brand of Hard drive, Maxtor that is bad.
I loved my HP computer... I passed it onto a friend cause I needed a new one for editing video and burning DVDS

If price is your main consideration...you need to check out Dell first! Make sure you get a warranty to cover the time period you want to keep it.
