They have dropped the Mighty from their name and are just the Ducks now. They are in Anaheim. They are quite a good team now.

The name "Mighty Ducks" comes from Burbank, California, the headquarters of Disney Corp. They made a couple movies, then bought a hockey team to cross-promote the movies, and their television interests ESPN and ABC. Now that the hockey team is no longer owned by Disney, they are no longer "Mighty," they just keep winning games.
