A political office someone is elected or appointed to. It is a job that serves the public, as in government.

public office is basically a council or authority that governs. usually answerable to main or central government. can also mean a mp.

any job the is paid for by the taxes.
From dog catcher to president the wadges that the holder recives comes from the taxes that the citizenry pays.
they are servents of the people.
This includes the police ,fire , postal, judical, and civel athorities..
Would it not be cool if they all could figer ou that we pay them and so are there employers and not just scum to be ruled over.
