Sounds like your sound card does not support surround sound. If your computer only has green, pink, and blue audio jacks, you will need to buy a sound card that supports surround sound, such as a Sound Blaster Audigy card.

check your pc specs, sometimes you have to configure the card to use two of three for output, the third is set for input so you can't use that one. You may need to get a y adapter for the other 2 leads as I'm sure the 3 leads are for left/right, center, and subwoofer. You'll have to connect your left/right lead to the center lead and then plugin the subwoofer to the second output jack on the pc.
If your specs don't allow for stereo or surround sound then you'll need to get a different sound card and install it in the pc.

No. The reason it has 3 leads is because of the surround sound. You plug all those into one jack and you better get ready for just mono sound.
