if therewhite people dark there all lighter than me and im light brown and they say there are people with light brown skin but those people are lighter than me

What's "dark"? Many Greeks, Italians, Slavs, and Spaniards have dark skin. Middle Easterners have dark skin. Sociologists and geneticists call them all Caucasian, aka white.
But why does it matter? Why should it matter?

You mean white race, why having shades of dark skin?
Depends on the real father (it might be mixed race), and you might have seen the stepfather or "seemed" father as claimed by the mother.
Depends on their anscestry. They may have american looks recent generations but 2nd or 3rd or 4th generations might be black, or italians, indians, etc.etc.etc
Depends on locations and their jobs. If they are exposed on too much sun exposure...then they will get tan...or exposed for a longer years, then they shows darker shades of skin from a natural american race.

White is really pinkish...Italians and southern europeans have darker skin...but with all the migration, wars, slavery throughout history I think there has been a lot of "mixing"...but then what is "mixing" if we are talking about the same species? Am I "mixing" if I have kids with someone with curlier hair than me? or different color eyes? or is mixing restricted to race groups on a govt form? Race is ultimately social NOT genetic.....it's best not to get too hung up on it....

Not necessarily....some white people have a darker shade of skin, some people say that maybe they have black ancestors, but unless the family tree is traced who knows.

Not always... some white ppl just have a nice olive complexion.
I am oh mix race, but I am completely white!
and my friend is mix race- but she looks black.
so it is all about the gene poole.

yes....and it doesnt mean you are native american or black....your possibly meditereanian ancestory....thats even more cooler...germans have dark flavour skin too..all races do...so dont jump the gun ...study who your ppl are from across the oceanblue. good luck ...hope it answers ya some whut..
