Before we got married, my ex had an ex girlfriend that was a doormat for him no matter what she went through with him. (This is what his friends and family told me). Well anyways even though he's married to me now, do these kind of women still lurk around hoping that the man will still want some kind of relationship with them?

Sometimes although when they are hanging around it is usually because the man is giving them flase hope. The man needs to break off all ties and communication with her if he hasn't already. Then she can find someone else to be a doormat for.

They say love is blind. I have been there and done that, only because I loved the person so much. But there will come a point when you get some self-respect and tell yourself that no matter what you don't deserve to be used as a doormat anymore.....

Yes, she will still try to hang on...so if along the way in your marraige you notice warning signs, like
1)Your husband is dressing and looking better than usual
2) your husband isen't on his daily schedule
3)he's on the computer more than often, or phone calls
ETC. ETC. then you better believe he is kindling this strong friendship with this girl from his past. And eventually, it will turn into something much more. so
KEEP YOUR eyes open! and also...don't loose confidence in yourself, or question him too much..b/c that will keep him farther away from you

it is a possibility, but he he married you not the doormat. 10 to 1, it is why he broke up with her in th first place. good luck.

even if she is i don't think you need to worry. he broke up with her for a reason and he still remembers that reason, which is enough to keep him from not having a relationship with her.
he married you and that's all that matters now.
