Jack and Rose were not real, but if they were, I'd would find some way to meet Rose. The one detail of Jack being succumbed to hypothermia, he would have died faster than they showed in the movie. He was a pretty strong man to be able to live that long with most of his body submerged in icy water.

There are numerous sites and books on the Titanic all you have to do is keyword search or go to your local liberary. As for the story of Jack and Rose it was probably fiction. But due to lack of accurate record keeping at the time and lack of personal identicfication in theorey what happen in the movie could have happened. The shooting and case senerio is completely fake as witnesses say the only shots fired were by a flare gun and two shots into an unruly crowd, no deaths confirmed. Several scene shots from the movie were taken from photos or paintings of the accident.

There are plenty of sites that will give you a plethora of information on that grand vessel. As for the Jack and Rose story...all artistic license. However the details of the ship and what occurred as she sunk is no doubt as accurate and as graphic as it probably was. I do have to say though that I suspect one would have died much quicker once you spend alittle over 4 minutes in that water. I think Leonardo would have been already dead long before the amount of time reflected in the movie.

The movie Titanic, and the Perfect Storm as well, are almost entirely fictional.
