does that game have a story or is it just racing like mario kart?

Usually there is a story, although don't expect a novel. However in NFS underground 1 & 2 is quite allright.

It does have a story your character was racing at the start of the game and the other racers get shocked so they lose control
Then the girl with the money gets knocoked over and the bag gets switched and the story is about finding the person that swicth it

nfs most wanted is the best one of them all its got sorta a story but the best part is being chased by the cops and losing them buy usig a pursuit breaker
