Hurt it. Fantasies are better left to Walt Disney. Try talking to your spouse or better yet go on a date.

Definately hurt for sure. A lonely husband should talk it out with his wife and let her know what he is missing in his relationship, not try to get his needs met through someone else. What people don't seem to understand is emotional cheating is almost as bad as physical cheating. And notice how u said online "relationship" and not friendship. That is why we marry one person, they are to fulfill all our needs, so work on that instead.

If a husband is lonely, he needs to talk to his WIFE about that. Maybe they need marriage counseling. Maybe they need to take up ballroom dancing, sports watching, bird watching, or playing golf or tennis together. Maybe you just need to really have a good TALK over candlelight at your wife's favorite restaurant and start anew. Online chatting will only take you further from your wife, who is sitting in the other room alone while you chat online.

It would hurt his marriage. Just because he isnt physically cheating, he is emotionally, which is even more hurtful in some cases. I know many women who would divorce their husbands - it's still leading a double life and it's not right. If you have problems in your marriage, you need to deal with them, not ignore them and run off to someone else.

It will hurt the relationship, if you are having problems, talk to your wife, cause those online relationships will lead to you meeting the person and then who knows what else would happen.

an online relationship would hurt his marriage because he'll stop loving his wife and love a fantasy. Ifhe's truly inlove then he must confront his wife and work things out.

If it is only online and not when the wife is at home and doesn't interfere with everything else, then it can help...
I know I've had more than a little fun online... ;)
