I see she has over 24,000 responses. Oprah is way too busy to read that many emails, and I wonder if her staff is even going to get throught it.
Anyway, how can we really "change" someone's life with $1000?
Anybody whose life would be totally changed by $1000 investment, already has what it takes to succeed.
Maybe a starving kid or twenty over in Biafra, but here in the USA?A thousand bucks would help temporarily only.
So yeah, I think it's "real" but don't understand her motive for asking. Maybe she just wants people to think about someone other than themselves this holiday season.

Oprah does nothing on her own. Her show was originally ripped off from Phil Dohahue, her magazine is all ads and nothing from her. She has her "oxygen" channel on TV, she does nothing in the way of programming the shows, or adds shows herself. She recently got a sattelite radio channel, for a half hour a week! On her own channel she only does a half hour! If this says anything, it says that Oprah is a publicity machine and does things only to prop her image up. All those cars she gave away? She didn't buy them, sponsors donate them for plugs on her show.
So in short, there is NO WAY on earth she was actually at her computer posting that question.

yea because when all these ppl posted these answers shes not really going to check all these 7800 comments, unlike normal people like us who at least chose the best answer and comment on it, which is why im competing with her with my question WOULD I GET 7000 ANSWERS IF I WAS OPRAH? at the moment im on 22 answers......7773 to go ppl. er and if i can reach 50 my school is donating £50 to charity...i think....but for us normal ppl its more thn oprah can give as a % of our wealth

im rather constructive her head is created from wood. comparable is going for 3 of her arms. and at night she has no hands and 3 legs, and that i heard once you positioned butter on her, her fanny explodes. and while ya say , platypuss her shithole will become a c-4 explosive and while somebody says 'oh look a bomb' it blows up. oh and he or she has a mechanical bolox.

if she did she aint reading the responses. if celebs want to get out and do something tell them to play xbox live where we can talk to them while we play games. lots of celebs do that and thats for real you can actually talk to them.

Yes - I'm sure it may well be - She'll be touting to find people to go on her show - she'll probably give those chosen $1000 and tell them to go and do their good deed... and record the results.

Oprah doesn't have time for that....she's got minions to do it for her.

It's her. I agree a thousand dollars is nice but it really wouldn't be life altering for many people.
