You can buy RAM from any computer store (Best Buy, Comp USA, Office Depot).

You'll need to know what kind of RAM you need to buy, though.

The actual process to add RAM is simple. They just snap into place and you will actually hear a click when that happens. But, you must get RAM that is compatible with your computer. Either look at your manual, look it up on the computer manufacturer's web site, or take a RAM chip from your computer to the store with you. Let the expert look at it but it should say what type it is.

Try to bring your computer up to at least 1 GB.

Best Buy or Circuit City? You by the little card and stick it in the slot it goes in on your PC. Its so EASY to upgrade your computer. I installed a hard drive and a CD-Rom drive this week... Just try to take out the battery which the idiot Dell customer service people tried to make me do... So much for free service warrantys.
