They say light bleeding with no cramps or very little cramping is totally normally....You should worry if you have severe pains with very heavy bleeding... :) Good Luck!!

i did bleed for about 3 months into my pregnancy, it was how i found out i was pregnant!!!! it worried me an awful lot as well, all i can say is keep going for your check ups for the doctors do know what they are doing and by the way my baby came out fine, in fact too fine he weighed 8lb13oz...(that hurt)... so try not to stress about it and if possible rest a lot more (rest has nothing to with the bleeding but it does help u put things in prospective).. good luck, if a girl u can call her Nicola after me, the wise young owl... *smiles*

Bleeding isn't uncommon in pregnancies, a lot of people continue to get their periods throughout but bleeding is not to be ignored as you already know. I know a girl who bled & the docs really couldn't tell her anything, just said wait & see. What they meant was you may miscarry at any time & she did unfortunately. But that isn't always the case, it is just a matter of wait & see what happens. I wish you all the best

it happened to me at 6 wks, I too went to the early pregnancy unit and had a scan, everything was fine but I had to return the following week for another scan, it was the longest week of my life, that scan was fine too. it happened again at 15 wks but this time i wasn't offered a scan they just did a heart trace and sent me on my way saying that if I was going to loose it there was nothing they could do at this stage, which left me a bit deflated... but at 40 weeks I pushed out a perfectly healthy bright purple baby boy!! It's not an easy time that you're going through, but I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.

I've known a few friends who had light spotting/bleeding in the early stages of their pregnancies. It's not uncommon-so try not to worry. Take it easy, rest when you can. If the hospital had even the slightest of concern, they would have kept you in.

I had blood spotting all through my second pregnancy and it resulted in a wonderful second baby boy. So don't worry too much but just go careful, no heavy housework or lifting heavy things. Don't overdo it and you should probably avoid sex for a while just to be n the safe side. Good luck

light bleeding is ok its when u start to have back bending cramps that u would have problems. some cramps are normal its from everything expanding to make room for baby. I'm sure everything will be fine.

I had a similar experience and lost the baby at ten weeks. My advice to you is to pester your GP/midwife/nurse to make sure you don't get forgotten about or not taken seriously.
You can always call NHS Direct if you have more questions.
