Yes. It's a matter of acceptance.

We accept that are life is changing.
We accept the slower pace.
We accept that we still can make ourselves happy.
We accept that we can appreciate nature....and smell the roses even if they are in the grocery store.
We accept that GOD has a purpose in our life.
We accept that we can reach out and help another.....there's always someone better....and someone worse than ourselves.

We accept that we can write...."What's bugging us"....and try to get that toxic part...even toxic people out of our life.
We can accept that we can write...what we like about others, what qualities they admire, what places we'd love to see...even if it's just online...to look at the mahhhhvelous pictures until we get there, we can see what qualities we have in ourselves, we can paint pictures....just for us...and use the back of the canvas...if we run out of space, and we can send free electronic greeting cards on the internet, and we can email our friends....and our distant relatives....that are too busy to return the extended friendship.

We can love from a distance....and GOD will send us more love...always!

We can learn to be tolerant of those healthy folks, who almost run us down in parking lots, and we can pray for them.

Yes. One is you don't have to be alone. Two, whatever ails you, you can raise the money to fix it somehow, if you really want to. All depends on whether you want to hang around and feel sorry for yourself, or maybe you want to do something about it.
