Doesn't matter what I think.

Money is on the wrong side of this question.

But....

People should remember - when they are flattening and burning and bulldozing and exterminating and in general trying to make the world safe for civilization and largesse and wastefulness and a different machine for every exercise and different machine for every operation in the kitchen and 100 inch flat screen TV's and garages for stretch hummers and assorted four ton land barges they use to drive their designer-disease handicapped kiddies to anger management classes - that we are never any farther from NATURE than our next meal.

We will do whatever the money tells us to do. And we will reap the whirlwind someday.

Yes, in many cases...it's called progress.
It's...

building bridges,
senior citizen villages,
roads,
highways,
public school buildings,
building hospitals....and give people hope,
development of waste land,
building levees that need to be replaced,
stopping people from living in areas that are flooded every year,
replacing weak structures with stronger ones,
........and most of all, make room by giving people a place to live.
