You and me both. That loss made me nauseous. Hell, I think it made every Giants fan nauseous.
You know what, I've said it for about two weeks now, that I'm really surprised how well Tony Romo is playing. He's really just taken that team and made it better. The Saints, well, I am happy for them and I'm disappointed in the Bears (I just hate the Pats, I wanted the Bears to win yesterday).
Honestly, I don't really know what happened yesterday. Eli...oh Eli. There are only so many excuses that people can come up with to explain his bipolar playing. One game: he's fantastic. Lately, he's just tanking. I sat there watching him throw that final interception and just felt myself cringe. Why? WHY! He needs to go home and have a serious conversation with Peyton. DONT DO STUPID THINGS WHEN THE GAME IS ON THE LINE! Now I have never really liked Plaxico. He makes a big play about...once a game if he can catch. Other than that, he's a complete waste to our offense. If they can teach Tiki not to fumble, they can teach Plax how to hold onto a damn ball. I wouldn't be surprised of Shockey decided to leave. I mean c'mon, they never even use him! He's there for purely decoration, and I'd be pissed off if I were him. And I don't care about "well, I might have been roughing the passer," that half-tackle by Kiwi nearly made me want to punch the screen. TAKE DOWN THE QB. Just make sure his knee hits the ground, then done. Take your damn 15 yards (it wouldn't've even been) and then tackle him again.
I think that with losing our best players, it's exposing how shaky Eli's quarterbacking skills are. With our best players in the game and healthy, they kind of balanced Eli's crappy mistakes and still kept us in there. But since we're playing 3rd stringers, we just don't have that ability anymore.
I think last night we handed the division title to Dallas on a golden platter. And after the way we played, I'm afraid to say we deserved it. If we win against Dallas, we'll at least be tied with them. We are still in the Wild Card race with the Panthers, but I know every Giants fan remembers that game last year...complete shut out. Complete embarrassment.
...I think we need to draft a new QB. And receivers. And a healthy defense.

They are still just 1 game behind the Cowboys in the East, and tied with Carolina for the wild card. They have a shot, but it would help if they didn't hate playing for Tom Coughlin. He does this everywhere he goes, the tough coach routine always wears out after a while and he loses the players. I agree, Eli has regressed. I never understood what he was thinking when he forced that trade to the Giants. He could be handing off to LDT every play, laying on the beach in SD, and not worrying about the New York media. But instead he throws a hissy-fit and the Chargers are better for it.

very last 12 months all of us suggested that what the Giants did became a fluke, they truly were given into the playoffs, and they were given fortunate hostile to the Pats. yet now they are 8-a million, and performance beaten some quite reliable communities. you will see how the Cowboys fall aside with out Tony Romo, and inspite of him, they don't seem to be the perfect NFC crew. The Panthers are an excellent crew, yet i don't think of they have adequate firepower or playmaking ability to bypass all a thanks to the large Bowl. Plus, the Giants nevertheless carry a extra useful record. The Eagles are surely no longer in high quality condition to characterize the NFC -- they have lost to each and every crew of their branch -- the Redskins, Cowboys, and the Giants. i'd say that the Giants, by the record, and by the particular incontrovertible actuality that they did win the large Bowl very last 12 months, have the most valid danger to get there again this 12 months

Giants are playing through some injuries to some key players - there are still 5 games left in the season and they should still make the playoffs as a wildcard at least - anything can happen between now and the end of the season
The entire NFC playoff picture is still wide open

im a giants fan too..and still in total shock...its real simple..you tell all those injured guys to put on the pads cause its time to play..next week is the season..we win, we are alive..we lose, we could be done...eli played well yesterday..until plax gave up on the ball..then it was a chain reaction...qbs need to stop being protected so much..if a defender reaches the qb while he still has the ball, the guy should be able to smash the qb to the ground..kiwi let gone so he didnt get called for a roughing hte passer penalty..sadly to say..vince had the ball...the game shouldve been over and eli shouldve never been in a position to throw a pick..if that never happened today we would all say how eli played well and how plax is a bum..so hopefully eli will shread apart dallas next week

look at it this way if the cowboys do win the nfc east and clinch a first round bye it would be because of the giants. who was the cowboys starting qb when they played the giants at texas stadium? drew bledoe. remember him that was the last game he started. tony romo has since become the second coming of marc bulger. my belief is the giants can get in. hopefully the cowboys beat them. but the rest of the nfc aside from the bears cowboys and saints is pretty bad. so the giants could still win the division or even sneak out a wild card.

The entire team and coaching staff are in disarray. There is no leadership on the team and as you said there are many players besides Eli that are stinking up the field. The Giants are a big disappointment and they just might have folded their tent. I do not look for them to make the playoffs which is sad to say the least.

In retrospect.... I think that with the way the Cow girls are playing with Tony Homo...They will win the east. As far as the G-men are playing... It looks like you and I share a very similar problem. Almost everything that you have said about the Giants, I can say about my Broncos.... Whatever you do , do not give in to the Dark Side (aka Cowgirls). Stay true to your Team. (unless you want to be another Broncos fan, then by all means Scream and jump on over!

I'm a Cowboys fan so I'm lovin' what's happening to the Giants right now (especially after what Jeremy Shockey said). Three weeks ago I would have put $ on the Giants to win the NFC, I don't know what the hells going on up there but it's helping out the Cowboys.

I don't think the Giants are going to make it to the playoffs. They are only a "team" by name, Coughlin is like the Larry Brown of football, he's lost the team and does not seem to know how to get them focused. Shockey will ask for a trade, Coughlin will probably get fired..........unless they can salvage the rest of the season somehow.
