Mohamed Ali lost to Joe Frazier in their first match... Did Ali not deserve a rematch? They were the two best boxers at the time. Just like Michigan and Ohio State are the two best Football teams...

Well, first of all, I should say I'm a USC fan, so I'm not displeased that they are ranked second. They should be. Yeah, they lost to Oregon State, but they also beat highly ranked teams such as Arkansas, Cal and Notre Dame, all by large margins. Michigan can't say that. Having said that, I wish to hell they would get rid of this goofy BCS system. The only thing that stands in the way of a true playoff system is the bowl games. They don't want to lose their money. Well, the bowls lost any charm they had when they started plastering corporate symbols all over them (the Chick-Fil-A whatever, I mean come on). Scrap the BCS and bowls and go to a true playoff system. Just look at how popular the NCAA basketball tournament is.

confident USC's loss substitute into to a team who isn't ranked yet seem on the time table they performed as against who Michigan performed. USC performed Arkansas in Arkansas, Notre Dame (who Michigan additionally performed), Nebraska besides because of the fact the %10 convention who substitute into usual greater advantageous this year than the super 10. confident Ohio State and Michigan have been super however the different 8 communities apart from Wisconsin had an rather down year.

A number of reasons this is the correct ranking. USC has decisively beaten Arkansas, Notre Dame, Cal, and Nebraska, Michigan lost to Ohio St. already, and Michigan is NOT their conference's champion. And before you bash Oregon St. look at the BCS rankings and take a close look at #24! When there are 119 Division 1-A schools, I would say they are not too bad!

It's the BS in the BCS. But you also have to consider this, USC is a very good team and kicked Notre Dames butt this weekend. Also, Michigan had thier shot at Ohio State already, should they get another chance?

But I would not oppose Michigan playing Ohio State for the title. Just so long as the Buck Eyes get beaten.

Michigan is a good team, and I have to agree with "I'll Try's" response. It seems like the team with the earlier loss tends to be the one with the higher ranking at the end of the season.

But, Michigan tied for second in the BIG TEN so why should they get to go? They lost... they have no one to blame and no pity from me. USC at least will win their conference. I think if anyone should be upset it should be Florida (even though they aren't as good as their record indicates) because they have played and beaten some hard teams as well.

Whine Whine WHINE. Man I'm tired of hearing you people. Oh and Ali and Fraiser fought THREE Times as a triliogy match-up. They determined the winner by having three matches. You would only get TWO matches that way. What happens when Michigan wins? Who is the REAL winner tthen. Does Michigan really deserve to be Champs, even though OSU beat them earlier in the season? What if OSU blows out Michigan this time?

It's a "what have you done for me lately" game. Saturday USC beat Notre Dame (ranked #6) and therefore are the next best team. I'm looking forward to a OSU-USC national championship.

Michigan (I was rooting for your Wolverines) blew it when they lost to OSU. There are no second chances at playing the "same team". So it's USC's turn now. They're the next in line to move up.
