I am getting one that I designed myself, it's kind of elaborate. But before I do that I want to get something more simple as a "starter." What kid of tattoos do you girls like on a guy? Are roses and hearts too feminine or too common? Tell me what you think Love Jack

Guys get anything and everything these days. Arm bands are not very IN anymore, however. Stick with something that has meaning to you - it's a great conversation starter sometimes if this is the case.
Many want to know "why" you got a particular tattoo. It is not impressive to say - I let the artist pick it out. Black and gray work is very popular.

Roses are way too feminine for a guy. Crosses tend to be sexy especially if it lines up with your shoulder blades and spine. Maybe with a vine or a snake wrapping around it.

Well my husband has a dragon with fire comin' out of it's mouth it's pretty cool looking...hearts and roses on a guy...um...that sounds a bit girlish and wimpy...my friend has a skull on his arm but that looks a little weird but i like the color it's red and orange!

I don't much care for tattoos but if my man had a tattoo i'd want it to be the thorns around the entire arm that you see quite often but that's the one i like the best.

i think abstract, plain black tattoos are best, just lines and stuff. they are real art on the body and natural. they don't make you look as if someone scribbled on you. so they stand for manliness etc.
if you like, it doesn't haaave to be abstract but i'm not a big fan of colour tattoos.

Get a rose with a snake going around it and a dagger going straight through it. That way it will show beauty(rose) manly(snake) brave(dagger).

I like tribal arm bands.....very sexy. A rose with a barbwire stem that is intertwined with a tribal is awesome! Or I love crosses....sexy to!
