is it possible that the people of the philippines realize marcos is the greatest president of the philippines and make him a hero someday like lincoln of usa coz at first they dont like lincoln and they soon realize that lincoln is right for his plan to his country,,,or pilipinos just stupid still and believe in the corocodile in disgiuse right now in thier country ?

It seems to me that the people of the Philippines have a love/hate relationship with the Marcos family. The family took billions in dollars from the people in order to guarantee they would continue to live the "very" good life after their dimise. One would think that the family would not be idolized by the people, but yet the people continue to elect them to public office. I have talked to many Filipinos and they say, "But the family was not guilty only Imelda and the President were guilty." My reply is that even to the present day grandchildren they are all equally guilty because they continue to accept and continue to prosper from the ill gain riches. I think President Marcos had the opportunity and missed it to be the greatest Filipino ever. One thing is for sure no Filipino is better known around the world than President and Imelda Marcos. In the U.S.A. during the depression their was an enormous attraction to movie stars and movies regardless of the immoral and extravagant life the movie star might live. Poor people were mysteriously attracted to those that were living a rich and extravagant life they could only dream of. I wonder if the same may be true in the Philippines. President Aquino is idolized by many although her administration was as corrupt as any and her framily certainly has not dealt fairly with the farmers. President Estrada still has a large following so how can anyone determine who the people of the Philippine will declare a great president and hero.
