Oh yeah..when i was 16 there was this 50 year old. It was so creepy and disgusting. Now I'm 24 and I get all these old, old, OLD men talking to me. It's like we're their answer to their midlife crisis. I say just go buy a motorcycle and leave us chicks alone! :)

I have never experienced older men hitting on me but for some reason the ones substantially younger than me do quite a lot

I myself do have this problem all the time but think it great to have some one much older to hit on you. it say a lot about who you are and how your carrying yourself as a person. because in this day and time it good to be more like a ladie and carry your self that way. it say a lot about how you where rasied. now if that was going to be someone older then my great grand father then i would put him in is place and let him know that it's great he's looking at me in that way but don't to far with it in a nice way .

Yes I did in my last job. This man (who I had to deal with at least once a month - I won't bore you with details) asked me if I ever went swimming. I told him I hadn't gone swimming in years since I never really learned how. He then told me that since his WIFE was away, he wanted someone to go swimming with him. I was a bit "rattled" to say the least! I'm 26, this man is 60ish but looks to be late 40's / early 50's.

It's funny that you ask this. I went into a Piggly Wiggly grocery store Saturday. I'm 30 but look like I'm about 20. This older and quite unattractive man says, "Oh, I knew it, I knew it. I knew I'd find me a girlfriend here."
So politely I reply, "I don't think my husband would like that."
He says, "He doesn't have to know." and follows me around the store.
I blatantly tell him I'm not interested and repeat that I have a husband. He says, "You just don't know how to keep a secret."

Well when I was real young it was kinda gross if he was like my dads age. I just ignored it and tried to stay far always. Now at my age. I guess I'm use to it or don't think that much about it like I did when I was younger. Plus some of the age thing changes as you get older....

I'm not sure why men do this, they have this thing that maybe if they get a younger woman ,it will make then feel younger. As long as they aren't lecherous with it ,it doesn't bother me .I simply smile and move on.I'm married and it still happens.
