EUROPE. William Haigh was right when he fought the election on it. Unfortunately for him, there are too many dumb people in this country. Perhaps also, brainwashed.
PS. It is closely related to immigration.

The UK's membership of the European Union. The EU makes over 70% of all British laws, and yet the traditional parties don't want to talk about it. Immigration, envronment and foreign aid are all EU competences, which means it doesn't matter what the British parties think, they are bound to the EU policies. Crime and anti-terror are increasingly decided by QMV (Qualified Majority Vote) in Brussels, while public health policy and some aspects of education also fall under Brussels' remit, as does defence procurement etc.
Kind of makes you wonder what the point is of voting for Westminster MPs, doesn't it?

In a word, TAXATION. I am now retired on a fixed income. Council tax is expected to rise on average by five percent. The average family will soon be faced with a council tax bill of £1,500 pa. Those on low incomes will be very hard hit by this, in particular those working in the lower paid sector and also us pensioners.
Labour will lose the next election in England and it might not be a Tory government either.
Watch this space.

Crime...get tough on criminals and lock the paedophile bastards away for good...build more prisons if they have to. Protect the law abiding and decent people in this country and those who violate others should lose their human rights. Tougher laws would cover all of the problems we have. As for the next election...is anyone up to doing a half decent job?

Europe. We need to pull away from it and rule Britain, for the British, from within our own country

Immigration. I want to see our borders have stricter controls and a complete stop to this open door policy.
