if you keep getting that internet explorer could not open the search page when you type in the address, theres a quick fix.
go to the network connections area of the control panel, right click on your local area network connection select properties, highlight the internet protocol (tcp/ip) then click on the properties button.
select to use the following
enter 192.168.0.3 in the first line
tab down to the third line (the second should populate with 255.255.255.0)
and enter the 192.168.0.1
then okay then exit out to internet explore and retype the address, it should open the page you need to configure your router....once done go back to the control panel and set the connection back to automatic

192.168.0.1 is a private IP address. Almost every consumer router in the world is assigned that IP address. Nobody owns that domain.

If you are trying to connect to your own router and need to find out what its IP address is, go to Start > Run and type cmd. Once the command prompt comes up, type ipconfig. look through the results and see what your Default Gateway IP address is. Enter that IP address into your URL and you should be able to access your router management tool.
