Drop and Truncate are the sql statements that are run on database management system. Their objectives are as follows
Drop Sql Command
Drop Command drops a table from database.
Truncate Sql Command
Truncate Command is used to delete all the rows from a table.
Difference between Drop and Truncate Sql Commands
Drop command deletes both (structure of table and data of table) and table is not recoverable, where as truncate command only deletes the data from the table and structure of table is not affected.
