how can i remove an iten fromm the tools?

IE 7 - on the tool bar far right i have an icon sowing tools. when i click on it a menu appears which shows some chinese writing. How can i remove this. I worried in case it is obtaining info - passwords and the like for bank accounts etc.

It seems to me you that when you downloaded IE7 it did not fully install properly. Sadly, I suggest you uninstall IE7 and then re-install it. To uninstall go to Start / Control Panel / Add/remove programs; identify IE7 and click Remove. This will revert you PC back to IE6. Then go back to the Microsoft Update web site and re-install IE7. Hopefully, this will takeaway your Chinese (I think there is a joke here!)
