I am trying to write a College Algebra Book and I wanted to know if there was "standard material" that had to be in the book before colleges would accept it. Also, I need to know what other material that colleges would like to see in it. I mean sometimes they cover less or more of the material in the book. Just want to make sure my book has fighting chance. Yes, I have taught College Algebra for MANY years but I only have the perspective of a few colleges. Plus I have not seen a "standard".

If you can provide TOC that would be great too! :D

Any help?

Thanks!

Most of the time, from what I have seen...it has just been a mix of Algebra II and I in High School...

Just write the book according to how you teach the class...that is what most professors do.
