I'm starting to think so. I just kept asking myself after that game, "WHY ELI WHY!" But I agree with some of the above commenters, that loss wasn't Eli's fault. I could have cried when I was Kiwi let Young go. And Plax...I hate him. My god. LEARN TO CATCH AND FOLLOW THROUGH.

I think Eli has a lot of pressure to be just like Peyton. Peyton is phenomenal. But Eli, unfortunately, probably will never be like him. There is always hope that he's just having a bad season, Troy Aikman didn't start his career off good. He had a 1-15 record. But this is Eli's 2nd year...so I really just don't know :(

i think it was definitely a wrong decision..but i dont blame manning for the giants losing that game...plaxico, for the second week in a row, gave up on a ball and did not make a tackle..after that, both weeks, it was all down hill..kiwi shouldve sacked young..but he said he thought young threw it away...which leads to the question..are qbs too protected? cause if he did throw it away, thats a 15 yard roughing the passer penalty..its not like he could see hte ball..i think that if a guy has hold of the qb while he still has the ball, the defender should be able to make the qb head smash against the ground, even if he does throw it away beforehand...and then that stupid penalty for a late hit out of bounds by wilson i believe..just total stupidity..manning just put the icing on the cake, and since hes been under the microscope the past few weeks, it will all fall on him..even though he played well for most of the game

No he wasn't adopted but he has played pretty bad of late. He just needs to get back to his normal playing ability and ask Peyton his advice.

I think the coaches are failing to recall he is still young as QBs go and needs more seasoning. He is being asked to carry the fortunes of a championship-starved Giants team, and that is not being fair, even for a guy named Manning.

they should give the ball to tiki barber more inside the 10...he only has 1 td all year....and yeah...eli should have either taken the sack or throw it away

He's still young and in a lousy situation. That said I dont think he's anywhere near as good as the Giants thought (hoped?) he was.
