Too many possibilities for too little information so.... 1. Clean out your temporary folders using disk clean up (Start > All Program(mes) > Accessories > System Tools > Disk Clean-Up). Including your recycle bin etc. 2. Defragment your hard drive (as above > System Tools> Defragment) at least twice 3. Update & Run anti-virus and anti-spyware software 4. Run "scandisk" (as above > System tools > Scan Disk). This will start the next time you restart your PC. 5. If it is one programme that is always crashing the system remove it (via Add/Remove Programs in your Control Panel) and re-install. 6. Other possibilities include bad or insufficient memory (RAM), corrupted Windows (well it is Microsoft), a failing hard drive (back up all your data now!). Less likely is a dodgy power supply, motherboard or drive or it's cabling. I have known crashes simply due to a tired old ATA cable from your Mainboard to your hard drive. It could also be your CPU getting too warm because of a dirty heat sink or malfunctioning fan. If the error report comes up with a error code you can look this up on Microsoft website or better still "Google" it and it may give you a clue as to what is going on. What ever you do try and get to the bottom of it and I would make sure you have backups of all your essential data. Best of Luck PS. Install Linux

There is currently a conflict between Firfox and Yahoo's latest instant messenger service.
What I have to do is uninstall Yahoo Instant Messenger after I have finished with it and then reinstall it when I need it again....a pain I know but it stops the browser crashing every 2 minutes!!!
If you are using Internet Explorer then I do not know because I do not use it....

Make sure you click 'send error report' it send information through to Microsoft so they can work on ways of bettering your PC.
De-frag your computer and if that doesn't work completely wipe it clean.
Hope this helps

there is something really wrong with your computer...
recover it as there are probably too many errors to fix. if you have been using it heavily for about 3 months, i suggest you whitewash the whole pc.
