I found it hard to believe at the time that they allowed it to happen, when i was in the military, fighting for our country, unlike some of the people on here who only make childish remarks. It never would have happened, today with politics taking such a large part in any conflict it is almost impossible to conduct a mission without interference from politicians. I noticed that you are already getting facetious, childish responses to your question, and it seems their are some who post drivel and think they are being intelligent.

Iranian insurgents. It was there goal to keep Iraq unstable long enough for the Iranian government to covertly prop him up. Mission accomplished. Hence civil war and weakening of American resolve. A free Iraq is Irans worst nightmare. Being that the Iranian government are extremist facist Iran could very well fall from within with the help of sanctions and some precision airstrikes, if Iraq becomes a true democracy.

Or should we just continue ina no win situation and allow our young people to die? Maybe those who favor Georgie Boys plan of staying the course should enlist and put their life where their mouth is?
