i work on building sites and recently on a school. around the school are signes like 'welcome', 'reception', etc etc. but as well as in english it said the words underneath in at least 7 different languages. i was asked by a member of the public, whilst at work, what i though the school was like because she was thinking of sending her children there ( she was english ). i said that i wouldnt send my children there because theres too many forigners. she reported me and i got thrown off site. am i not entitled to my oppinion ? or is it just ignorence on my part ? but i know if it was the other way round it wouldnt have got that far !

Yes you are entitled to your opinion, but your also expected to base your opinions on facts. Since when has the number of "forigners" been an indicator of how good a school is? Try comparing apples with apples.
I drove a school bus for a religious school with many out of zone enrollments, and the students were awful. I drove another school bus with boys who attended a public school (not "English Public School") and they were always well behaved and polite.

Whenever you enter an adhesion contract (i.e. sign or click yes to our terms -- take it of leave it), you're likely forgo many freedoms. Freedom of expression rights are usually first on the list. The woman construed it as a racist comment; I would apologize to whoever was offended and explain that you meant that you doubted the school would have the money to provide your children with adequate resources. You felt that the quality of teaching and learning would seriously be compromised. That is a fair assumption and it has nothing to do with racism. .

i agree with you, this country is getting worse. we are the racist ones but if the tables where turned then like you said they wouldnt have even backed a eye lid. we all need to stand our ground and not let it take over our lives. my friend was kidnapped beat up and thrown out of a moveing vehicle by 2 asians, they got 6 months (he died) a family member of his beat them both up for what they had done and was given 18 months in prison. WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON?

Welcome to Inglistan. No unfortunately you are not allowed to express your thoughts aloud. Read George Orwell '1984'. Political correctness and a traitorous government have brought about an end to free speech. Hell waits for Blair and his cohorts with open arms. Tolerance is fine - but you can't force people to think in one way or another.

It is called globalisation. As you know the English has learnt it all from their ancestors the Germs, but there were this Saint who has turned them all to English people with a smile on their faces.
