Yes, you will continue to be required to pay a monthly fee to play.
There will not be an increase in the cost of playing, please check the FAQs I have listed below.
The price is a wee bit cheaper if you buy 6 months at a time instead of going month to month.

Of course you still have to pay the monthly fees, how would Blizzard make any money if everybody upgraded and nobody was paying? It's common sense, they need money, and just because you got an expansion doesn't mean you're exempt from the monthly fees.

They have to pay people to make patches some how.

of course, but i heard that the 1 month rate is being raised to $20, dunno maybe just a rumor
