I am planning to buy CSI:Miami season 1 DVDs for Christmas. They only have parts 1 and 2. I have never bought a DVD set for a television series, so i am just wondering will this be the complete first season? How many parts do they usually come out in?

Each part contains 2 discs, so therefor there are 4 discs in total.

Each box you buy is usually a full season. Some will have multiple seasons, but mostly they come neatly packaged one season per box. Each American season has 23-25 episodes, and you should have one extras disc per box. That's in the US. I can't begin to imagine how it's packaged in other countries, but I imagine it follows the tv seasons that have broadcast.

Depending on how many episodes, they can vary from 2 to 4. Wish I could help more but i dont know much about CSI Miami.
