13 is just a number. It can't do anything to you. Neither can Friday or Tuesday. And when Eve bit the apple, the calendar wasn't even invented yet.

Besides, there are countless calendars out there. Yes, folks, there was a time when the Gregorian calendar wasn't THE calendar, and some calendars were much better for many purposes than it. And "Friday" is by no means an universal concept.

Therefore, all those superstitions about Friday THE 13th are just plain BS. Like anything that ever came from the Knights Templar (buncha heretics).

For instance, I suffer of megalophobia. I'm not short (5'11"). But sometimes I see that the Giant Pink Elephant from Space is going to eat me.

... right. HAHAHAHAHA. I'm kidding.

no it has never been a phobia of mine! My sister was born on Friday 13th and considers it a Lucky day!
Dan Brown along with many others believes it comes from the Arrest of the Templars throughout France which took place on Friday 13th October 1307

It does originate with the demise of the Knights Templar, in those far off days when folk were superstitious.

I have no problems with Friday the 13th, but I have a fear of Saturday the 14th, because everything that can go wrong does, for me on this day.

PS Friday the 13th is said to be doubly unlucky if it falls in May, but I don't know why.

Friday the 13th? No. My sister's birthday is the 13th, and was a Friday last year, and we had a great time, so doesn't bother me...
