Yes, I saw one. I was walking the dog one Boxing day about 7pm and our estate is an old one built on a site of an iron age hill fort. The person whom I thought was wearing an overcoat or long garment was bare headed and came from the road walking towards me. As I approached him I was about 20 metres away, he turned and disappeared between two cars and into a hedge. He was about 5'6" and I looked at where he went but there would have been no way he could have got through the hedge plus the cars were parked in such a way that he would never have squeezed through. Afterwards I thought about it and didn't remember seeing his feet. His coat or cape were not full length but he seemed to 'float' a little off the ground. Whether he had been walking on a higher plane as the ground used to be or had his legs/feet amputated before death I don't know. I've never seen him again unfortunately.

I have a few weird things that has happened to me which I considered to be a ghost as well as seeing one. About ten years ago I was walking around a house that was turned into a office building that was a friend claimed it to be haunted by a witch that died in the early 1900's that once owned the building. Since I didn't know what to believe I was looking around. Remind you this was at dusk and the building was closed and locked up for the day no one was in sight. As she was telling me the story I looked up to the third floor and there was a window open with the curtains blowing when there was no wind no ladders around and there was a hazy figure standing in the window that was the shape of a woman looking down at us. Well put it this way I didn't stick around to find out anything more and from that day on I believed

I have so many stories of my own but my Grandpa had the best one. When he was very young, in 1902, he was walking through the woods when he came to a clearing with a log cabin. As he walked closer to the cabin he saw the door open and a woman stepped out with a bucket of water. She emptied the bucket on the ground and walked back inside shutting the door. My grandpa thought it was strange that she never even acknowledged him. After he passed the cabin he turned around to look at it again and there was nothing there except a few logs where a cabin once stood.

She's not harmful or anything but she is always there. She used to wake me up in the middle of the night by tapping my bedside table and openin ghte locked door. She's not scary at all the just needs help.

i live in egypt, and there is this building in alexandria which has been there for many many years, its haunted and everybody in Egypt knows about it, whenever someone live there in that building all his stuff is thrown away from the windows, even the furniture. so the owner tried to break down the building as nobody wanted to rent or buy a flat there, the workers tried to break its walls but they couldnt, no walls were broken and the building is still there till now.
i think the ghosts there dont want any company;)

Yes.
Ever since I saw one.
The ghost of Lannock Hill in Weston, Hertfordshire.
Driving along around midnight one winters night - with my wife - we both saw her (dressed in a wedding dress)
Later established that a woman died in that spot on her wedding day (by drowning in a pond long since gone) more than two centuries ago.
Other people have seen her too.
I have not seen any others and cannot explain it.
Perhaps it is like a video recording - something in the artmospherics triggers off a replay?

Yes, I have witnessed a paranormal experience but I prefer to keep an open mind, whether it be a ghost (SPIRIT) or some kind of echo emitting through some fault in time or space.

I never had a choice, in all my 61 years of life, they wont leave me alone... and though I hate the word Medium... I'm recorded as one by a Church of England Bishop, back in 1973.
I'm a real life Alison type, from 'Afterlife' on ITV 1... and just like her character, I fought hard against it and tried to stop it... didn't want it, but unlike her, I turned to God for answers and strength to cope with all the weird stuff that was happening... and scaring others round me, as well as me.. I did not turn to drink, to drugs, for help... and decidedly, I did not turn to, or open up to, a dim witted psychologist, sexy though he is!
Oh no... I foolishly trusted a Canadian hard nosed Fleet Street trained journalist, who hunted me down via the church, and who, I was forced to scare the pants off, to convince (in more ways than one;-) that I was exactly what I am!
I learned to overcome my fear of being a Psychic Medium, just before I got splashed on the front pages by him... at age 28... two long and lonely scary decades, after inheriting every other psychic gift there is, besides ghosts (I already had that one) inside a coma lasting many months, and... a year long stay in hospital.
And yes... I'm working on the book... so, nope... I've shared enough already, far too many of my stories have already gone online!
PS... he was sexy too and he broke my heart... and he learned that it's true, we can't see for ourselves, only for and about, others... and... he left me a believer, trust me... I know darned well he did... in his own words... "Lady... don't ever do that to me again... you scared the s**t outa me!"
I only once got mad and used the gifts deliberately... on him... telepathically, to convince and stop him from writing me up in his story as a nut case!
It worked... it shocked me too... that I could do it... so, never again... have I, will I, used/use them to score points!
And sceptics... bah humbug... I'd be a better sceptic and a more outspoken one, the worlds worst, if I hadn't lived my life... so be my guest, had it all my life... and don't mind at all:-)

I believe in ghost as I have seen, smell but never been touch by them. I first saw ghosts or spirits or in Malay culture called as Orang Bunian, when I was 7 years old. I was alone at home, I saw a group of peoples in white clothes sitting in the living room. Then, there is incident where I heard somebody call my name but actualy there was no one calling (In my culture, there's this belief that you should never answer the call for fear of falling sick).
To continue, I've seen a burning orb flying and as if gazing me when I was washing dishes in the kitchen at night. Also, before christmas out choir group would go around my village for christmas caroling. I've seen a black figure standing beside me while I was waiting for my cousins. Hmm, to to be truthfull actually these being is not that scary, it's just that we're afraid of them because we do not know anything of them.
To continue, I used to work a financial company. The company building was build on a ancient cemetary land. A lot of the staff have seen and been played trick by these ghosts . Yes, somehow they are able to blow your ear, to open and close radio and etc.
Once I have done overtime during the weekend. In front of my desk is a see through glass window overlooking other desk in the office. as I was working I look up and suddenly saw a women or girl with her hair braided into two standing behind me... But when I jumped (yes I jump and ran to the door before i look) and look there was no one. There is also the unexplainable plastic crunching sound (I wanted to blame the rats, but how can there be rats there in the clean off and I never even seen one there). And the typing sound in the empty server room where hmmm at 7pm, only me and my friend are at the office doing overtime (Well i was not that brave to be alone again).
But the most unforgettable experience is when I saw at first a light on the desk in the office, I thought that somebody left the pc monitor on. when I look again the light change desk, I started to feel a little scared. The third time I look again the light change place again. I knew at that moment that there was something there. I quickly tidied uo my desk, when I look back there was a person (I would not a person but I really saw a ghost not an apparition but looking as a living person and is glowing) that sitting on my friends desk (her desk is in front of desk). I quickly ran to the door and out of the office building. The next day the mooncake (A chinese cake) that was left on my friends desk was spoil (mind you the cake was not suppose to be spoil)
There are lot of people that may not believe in ghost, they say that they will only believe when they saw one. But there will be some that will never see one. As they are not sensitive to see one, but there a some that are so sensitive that they may see one at every corner.
A cousin (lets just call him lee) of a friend of mine really hated to go to a hospital. As he can things (well you know dead peoples, spirits). One day Lee had to take care of a relative in a hospital. The first day he went alone, but the second day he beg my friend to accompany him pass some beds. When asked why, lee told my friends that he was scared of passing a particular bed(a coma patient was on it) as he could see that the coma patient spirit standing beside his own bed looking at his own body)
Well, hope that this could help you
