When I was about 8 yrs old I saw 2 dragons - together. They were clinging to the ceiling of a room I was in. It has always seemed like an important event for me.. but I would like to know why. They did not scare me, and they seemed to know that I saw them. When I first spotted them, they appeared to me talking to one another - then they stopped as they noticed me looking at them. Then they just watched me as I watched them. They were only about 5 ft long each and I remember their eyes most of all, speculative and searching.
I didn't know it at the time but my Chinese Zodiac sign is Dragon. Not sure if that has anything to do with it.
I poo-pooed the notion of seeing dragons as I grew older and have never really told anyone close because I know people will just say it was a hallucination; because I was tired or something. The older I get, I can admit to myself that I did see them and the picture is vivid in my memory.
Any ideas? Other than the predictable rubbish?
Thanks!

That is so wierd! I had the same experience, the dragons were probably different than your's though. And my zodiac is not the dragon. My dragons were different to each other too. One was a blue western(or english) dragon. The other was a green-to-red from head to tail and it was an eastern(or chinese) dragon. I was about 6 years old. I was in my room sitting on my bed with the window open. I was staring out the window and I look away for a few seconds, and when I look back these two dragons crawled into my room. And no they weren't lizards, I don't live anywhere near where lizards can live. Oh well, so while they were crawling in they were talking, like your dragons. Only these ones were talking to me and it was like I understood. But they were talking in some other language, an ancient language I suppose. Then my mom called me, I turned around and told her I was coming. When I looked back I just saw the tail of the blue dragon exit through the window. I only saw them once more. I saw the chinese dragon two years ago in the summer. But that was the last time. And I also did not tell anyone for fear of being considered crazy, a freak, or something else I can't think of right now. Oh well, there's my experience. Hope it did something.
Also many believe that Dragons are the ultimate creatures. It is said they are in tune with all elements. They are the strongest, wisest, the ugliest or most beautiful, etc. Basically the best of everything. But also the most secretive.

I have had interactions with dragons.
From what i feel when i read your question was you had two very nice dragon guardians.
Dragons i feel are much like angels.
They look out for you in a way.
Teach in some cases and protect in others.
I have seen a couple over the years.
Dragons exist on another dimension to ours.
I guess again like angels how many people do you know that say they believe in angels but not everyone sees them..
This is kind of the same.. in a broad sense.
Sure some will say your insane or for that matter I'm insane..
And Some will give you some biblical answer..
Its up to you what you believe.
Be happy and be thankful. they don't show themselves to everyone.
Blessings ALD

I know that among the Oriental beliefs the dragons was seen as a symbol of strength, luck, and wisdom.
In European belief the dragon was a symbol of power, but also of destruction...AS thei dragons of Wurope were of an entirely differnt species and nature to the Oriental ones.
I can only assume, from the limited infromation that you have a greater connection to those mystical creatures than you may realize it it might be time to investigate that with a study of them....
Try starting with this book....Dancing With Dragons by D.J. Conway

because of personal idiosyncrasies I have a feeling these
" Dragons " were letting you see them for a specific purpose which may not be realized at that time or even yet. may have been one of your totem animals since you were born in the year of a Dragon. you might want to do more research into these beings

Well, there is a school of thought that most "sightings" whether dragons, aliens, ghosts, etc. are all a common perceptual mode that we're all capable of, and is more common when we are children. The only question is whether it has any significance. I personally think that it is like seeing a rainbow -- what is the significance? None, but you can still enjoy the experience.

There could be some significance to it. As fat as the dragons being real, I have to say no. But if the image is haunting, you might want to talk to a psychologist and examine the vision. Interesting story. You should do an drawing of what you saw, sounds fascinating.

Young children sometimes see things that adults would not, unless they are sensitive or mediums. I don't know exactly what that would mean, I would speak to someone, preferably chinese, as to the true meaning. Dragons are supposed to mean strength, from what you said they weren't there to scare you, so maybe their message to you is a good omen.

did you find a bag of your parents mushrooms somewhere and eat them or maybe a pan of brownies high in the cupboards? Did you ask the dragons if they could save you money on your car insurance? just thoughts.

There are no such things as dragons. End of story. You were probably dreaming. Dreams can seem very real, especially to a child.
