It depends on What you buy.If you were to buy a Gold or Sterling silver Rolex then of course not,but if it was fake like the watches they sell in New york for like $40 it would get Colour defection.Watches dont normally rust,thats why they put "Water Resistant" Or "stainless steel".

No, never. The outer shell is made of either platinum, gold or silver or a combination of all 3 which dont rust. The watch is 100% watertight & water cannot get in. The inside of the watch has got parts can reust if it gets into contact with moisture but like i said.. the water cant get in anyway.

I do know this, for the price they cost, they should not. Most I have seen are gold or stainless. Gold does not rust or corrode. Proper care should prevent any problems.

I wouldn't put it in water , but why spend all that money when a Timex will still tell you what time it is ?
