You Chicago fans make me puke. "They suck!" "Grossman should be yanked!" "The coaching staff are awful!" "They have no offence!"
Blah, blah, whine, natter, blah, blah, blah..... They are 9-2 you morons. A couple of years down the road when they are 2-9 again, the same whiners of today will be willing to cut off their right arms just to see the Bears have a season like this again...

I think Rex Grossman has turned out to be a big mistake in the Bear organization. The only reason that he is still playing for them is because they have a lot of money tied up in Rex. I think they should have kept Kyle Orton in as quarterback. Rex is always looking down field for the big play, instead of making the little plays, 4 to 6 yard dump off plays to keep the chains moving. If he continues to play the way that he is, they are going to have to make a change at QB, or the upper management is going to make a change in coach. Mike Vick is starting to fall into the same catagory as Byron Leftwich. These quarterbacks have been in the league too long, and they have not progressed as quarterbacks like they should. Right now, Vick doesn't have any receivers, but in the past he has had receivers and still couldn't get them the ball. We can blame it on the offensive line, the receivers, the coaching scheme or whatever. But soon we have to start looking a Vick and saying, "Is this the guy that is going to take this team over the top". I starting to think that the answer, much like it is in Jacksonville and Chicago, the answer is no.

Actually, the Bears are not a "run team." Ron Turner is a west coast offense type of coach and that is the offense they put in. That is why they have agile linemen, etc. etc.
Now Grossman, on the other hand, always seems to want to make the big play. Instead of steadily moving a team downfield with a combination of run and short pass plays, he is always looking for the deep threat. Unfortunately, he lacks the ability to put the ball where it needs to be.
Mike Vick, in that same offense, would not do as well. He needs to be able to move around, etc. I think the Falcons need to move more to the classic run and shoot offense in order to take full advantage of Vick.
What the Bears need in that offense is an accurate QB. I think they have one in Griese. I say give him a shot and see what happens. The Defense can't win all the games, though they try very hard to.

I agree. His middle name is "Inconsistent". Fans never know what they're going to see in a Bears game. Vick would be fine. How about Carson Palmer? Anybody else? Someone with consistent accuracy and good decision making. By the way, West Coast offense is more passing than running. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/West_coast_offense And yes, the Bears need to run more. That last pass (for an interception) was not necessary for a Bears win, and as we all saw, it assured the loss.

you're in all probability precise. Greise isn't an improve to Grossman. yet firing the Offensive coordinator won't be the respond. quite some variables in there like receivers not working the the final option path or slacking off on their path working. Grossman not examining the protection precise, Grossman not putting in long adequate for the path to enhance, Offensive line not offering adequate time so Rex feels rushed. we could see how Greise does formerly we decrease off yet another head.

Chris I wouldn't worry about the Bears' offense as long as the "D" continues to dominate. Remember the Ravens in 2000 and this years team. I'd take a dominating defense over an explosive offense any day. Defenses can score points as well. Just my take.

This is funny...two weeks ago, according to the Bears' fans on here, Chicago was the best thing to happen to football and Grossman was god.

i think grossman just has to adjust to more complex defenses....he lost to the dolphins (who suck), but they had players such as jason taylor....and the patriots....the pats have a defense that has players such as richard seymour....the other defenses he faced werent as good as them....as for mike vick being in chicago..thats not going to happen...for one...the falcons owe him $158 million over 10 years (with signing bonus)...cutting vick from the falcons is a waste of money..

He is overrated. The Patriots would have held him to 3 points were it not for some "generous" call by the officials.
