Usually I would say that they pretty much do this on a daily basis, but then again, I should be one to talk since I do the same thing. I'm a Democrat and I've done more of my fair share of slander and rudeness, mainly out of retaliation against the Republicans. However, I think it tends to go both ways.

Wow, I guess I will just have to jump in and get ready for the thumbs down. I just can't sit on my hands here.
I agree with your question and add that it is not only here but across all the media as well. Even though the republicans love to bash the media as liberal. It is filled with Rush Limbaugh's, Shawn Hannitys, and on and on. It has been there platform to attack anyone that doesn't agree with their ideals. They have done it with such great intensity that they have almost started another McCarthy era, "Your either with us or against us".
Though both parties have run on negative campaign it surely has been the republicans that have mastered the art of destroying your opponent.
If you can't win with what you know. Then pull everyone down to your level.
And no I am NOT a Liberal. I am an independent and aware voter.

Not for nothing but look at the dopey attacks on Republicans that your question brought out. I suppose you've never notice some of the postings from people like Answeman who calls us repuglicans, or from a a who calls us Repukes. Does that mean this type of behavior is OK with you. Look at the crap paulisfree just put on here. The problem seems to be that most dopey Demmies feel it's perfectly OK to say what they please about others, then take offense when it comes back to them.

I don't agree with that at all. SOME Republicans on this site are venomous, yes. But there are just as many rude Democrats, if not more.
I have had MANY issues with Democrats on here.
AND if Republicans are so horrible, why were so many conservatives suspended after the elections? There were at least ten of them who ALL lost their accounts...and unlike some of the Democrats who were suspended, they haven't gotten theirs back.

Ever since the Democrats lost two elections in a row they have abandoned any pretense of civil discourse. They have become the party of the winners, cry babies and sideline losers.

And I reject, (on a personal level), any implications of slander. I don't need to stoop to the Democrats level. I do admit to ridiculing Democrats. The are the most ridiculous creatures on earth today.

Lets face it, Democrats don't come to this forum to present ideas or have discussions. They come here to rant, rave, whine and lie.

So if you are getting a taste of your own medicine and you don't like it, I suggest you look in the mirror.

I think it goes both ways. I've been rudely attacked by Democrats and their view point. I think it's the nature of the game. Everyone has a strong opinion and doesn't want anyone else to disagree with them. It's good they're different opinions but you can't blame one group for being rude and not the other.

I don't know, I am a middle of the roader and do not really care for either party. I always wonder why the worst venom tho, seems to come from the Democrat side. IMHO, both sides are chuck full of liars, cheats and scoundrels. My mom believed that if you couldn't say something nice about someone, you should keep your mouth shut. Sadly for us all in politics that lesson has died.

I'm a Moderate and it goes both ways. It seems to me that the Libs spew a tad more hate. But there is little from either extreme that has an open mind. I'm disappointed in most of the American's I see here that are closed minded and unwilling to actually debate with valid arguement. The terrorist are laughing at us.

Because the other viewpoints are personal slander and rude.
And usually very un-informed.

Thats amazing! I have yet to find anything on someone's profile that identifies their political party affiliation.....you must be a psychic! I cannot speak for those who are Republican, as I am an independant, but i will gladly attack the bigoted hatemongering leftist liberal extremists because of their intolerance, their hatred of freedom and the US, and their mental disorder that is liberalism.
