Don't now what OH is? But I always put things in like Top Trumps, you can play that together, Tangerine, Horescope book for their sign, sweets, sample bottles of perfume, aftershave, which you can get for free from boots if you ask, a small picture frame with you in? a new pen, a knite to fly about in the afternoon, marks and spencer for £3. just small things like that really, anything goes as it will all be a surprise

For Him
If other half is a man then little gadget things can be brought from places like tesco (who if I am still correct doing a 3 for 2 offer at the moment) ranging from about £2 upwards.
For Her
For her you can buy a small me to you bear (Clinton's) with loving words on or other small gifts with loving words like mini books, keyrings etc, women love sentimental things.
Add to both his/her stocking
Then buy things like chocolate coins, candy canes, nuts and if want to go all traditional fruit. I usually blend both traditional with modern to make the best of both worlds. It also adds to that magical christmas feeling.

That cheap gaudy jewelry from those .25 and .50 and 1.00 ( 4 quarter ) machines out front entrance at most grocery stores? Don't forget to put in a few of The Simpson gagdets in.
At a store near me they had bobblehead Simpson characters, and plain statues of The Simpsons.
Plus them tattoo/sticker machines out front too! And get a few of them critters out of the claw machines from bowling alleys, front door grocery stores.
