It would be no good to remove Chapell at this hour but he should be harnessed by the BCCI and should not get him along with his day-to-experimentations. He has already broken the morale of our Junior players by his dictatorial attitude towards the game. Chapell may be a great player of his time but he is worst in managing a bunch of players. He accelarated our players too quickly before the grand event of the World Cup to be held in 2007 and now we are seeing the graph is descending. Had he some patience he should have waited to reach the pick form of the players around January 2007 so that the team performs good in the WC.
One thing can be done. Its to cut his pay if fails to deliver what he promised at the time of his appointment as the Team's Coach. Everybody now know him to be a liar, an ungrateful and greedy kind of person. More than a Crore of rupees are spent every month on him. But he is delivering nothing but defeat after dismal defeats. He knows that the BCCI is the richest Cricket Board of the world and he has come only to take a creamy portion of it for him. He does not care for what happening to our players. He has failed to recognise the Indian mentality. His previous record as Coach has never been upto standard.
I think as Captain Rahul Dravid is a total flop. He is a good order-bearer but a worst order giver. He should immediately be removed and be put under Sourav's subordination because he plays best when he is under somebody's order.

No, Greg Chappell shouldn't be removed. As we all know, when the team wins, the players are given the credit. In contrast, when the team loses, the coach is subjected to public ire. This is absolutely immoral, Instead of just shuffling, deleting and adding people, it is better if all of them work to their best potentials and own up to all failures and defeats like a true gentleman.
I hope the Indian team gears up in the current series before it is too late and win laurels for itself, its coach and the general public of India (The Blue Billion !!!).

We can create a world record by making 12th man captain as Sourav can not be in first eleven on his batting ability. As 12th man, we have to accept that he will give away additioal 25 runs in fielding. That is a price for u have to pay for a shirt-waving captain. We can request President to nominate Greg into Parliament where he can conduct physical fitness classes which can increase the stamina of members for shouting down each other.

No!! Not at all!! We need to move forward and not backward. Let us have the best talent available and go ahead. The coach can do only certain things. It is for the team to remain motivated and give its best. Not to worry about the results and the petty politicians. It will also help if the focus of the team is not disturbed by extraneous factors such as TV promotions etc. The captain should take lead in this. We are bored seeing the TV ads with our cricketers. We would like to see more of them in the cricket fields. And we should play fewer games and better quality games.

Chappel should be removed immediately. We need Sourav in the team and obviously as captain.

No offense to all u Indian fans out there..........but i don't think India's poooor performance is to be blamed on Greg.........!! They r the one's who r suckin' big time..........and besides there's only so much a coach can do........!!

So stop complainin' about what a pathetic coach the Indian team have.........and try to put more effort into the game........!!

I think Dravid is a fantastic captain.........he's got aggression, and is pretty consistent too..........!! Sourav's time is over.......!! ;)

His removal is important.

But more Important is;

CAPABILITY

RESPONSILITY

ACCONTABILITY.

All these will come ONLY-IF

Selection and benefit / payment of

BCCI
SELECTOR
COACH
CAPTAIN
PLAYERS

are linked to performance in the respective capacity.

FOR EXAMPLE Shri RAHUL

1) is a great TEST PLAYER, can play for TEST but not ODI. What he scored in last ODI, he tried to be retain in the team. In ODI total score by INDIVIDUAL along with rate of score is very very important. He can never play fast. Therefore he shall not be choosen for ODI.

2) South Africa was 6 out with 75 runs. Still he could not control upto scoring 277. He is the worst CAPTAIN.
He shall not be choosen for CAPTAINCY.

Then who is CAPTAIN?

Choose some better capable. If connot be select the best player of one ODI as CAPTAIN in the next Match.
