What about finding a cheap greenhouse supplier and offering an istallation service outside of the growing season? Alternatively you could use your van, assuming you have one, for a man with a van service. Or how about offering a carpet cleaning service if you buy a good steam cleaner (no cleaning products required then). People often want a sprucing service prior to Xmas, check out ebay or the shopping channel services for a good, cheap steam cleaner. You can get really good ones which clean mattresses and furniture etc, good service for allergy sufferers and might help the dry spell for you. Why should anyone need to know your medical history for such jobs too? As long as you prove yourself reliable than you should get tons of work and"word of mouth" advertising which is free!
Cards are cheap to produce and you might be wise to change your business insurance in line with your new branch.

Go through all the classifieds in your town/city, as well as the internet. (some good ones here already). We all have our crosses to bear, we all have our issues. Recovering is better than 'current' so kudos to you. Lots of old people dont want to go out there in the cold, you could run errands for them for a fee. Put yr ads up. Good Luck

Invest in a snow blower and clear peoples driveways. Guarantee you can have driveways clear before people have to go to work if it snows over night. You could make some good money. If you have a truck have a plow installed. If you do that load down the bed with sand bags for extra weight for traction. Best wishes.

Is there any xmas tree businesses near you or anything with the local forestry commission this time of year they are always busy.
Alternatively, could you not produce some xmas wreaths or garlands to sell to either a florists or local shop? Even pots of hyacinths, etc would sell well.
Another option is to approach some local recuitment agencies for christmas work as they are always busy this time of year, especially in the warehousing and packaging vacancies.
GOOD LUCK & I HOPE IT WORKS OUT FOR YOU!

Since I don.t know where you live not sure how steady this would be...but snow removal? If it doesn't snow then you must live in the south and we continue to mow our yards, albeit not as often. If it snow installing a winch on your truck guarantees some money from removing folks from ditches. There is always retail..Ick. Good luck w/ the recovery!

Try contacting some of the local nursing homes and other large businesses in your area and ask them if they need someone to look after their indoor plants and sweap the leaves of the paths for them in the winter months

You could sign on with a temping agency that use people in your line of work. You might get temp work for the local council in their parks and green spaces, or privately owned estates.
Good luck.

Several things you could try, window cleaning that's a good back up, landscaping if you want outside work. Supermarket work shelf filling etc. if want inside work.
Well done and good luck for the future.
