I have downloaded some of my favourite tracks & want to burn them to a disc. However, some of the songs have less volume than others. Is there any way I can fix it so they all play at the same volume? I'm burning off Windows Media Player, have also got Realplayer or Roxio.

Its all down to the kbps, kilobytes per second.

They range like this.

128 164, 192,

The higher the number the better the quality, when you convert or burn tracks it always asks you for this number. Just make sure that they all have the same number. I always use 192.

Hope this helps...

you ought to use a application that has a "Normalize" function. This shows the loudest area of the song, and will advance the quantity so it is on the 0db cut back (to sidestep clipping, as nicely as to point out the quantity of the song). Nero is a application i be attentive to that has this option. there could be others.
