Well, I believe the science hasn't spoken its last word yet...Our life is greatly affected by science and its achievements, which are hopefully to be transferred even to poor nations...It is of vital importance to rise the level of education in developing countries, so everyone could be able to share the benefits of scientific achievements, I believe computer games and virtual reality are of secondary importance in comparison with above mentioned issues !

With no offense meant, I have to say,,, I "WOULD" imagine the future differently than I "DO" imagine the future,,, simply because I see it as pretty much a sequel to the present,,, only with more special effects added in a technology that's expanding exponentially.
Believe me I do not mean that in the sense of it being a movie or game.
Again with no offense, I enjoy the misspelling of NEAR,,, (Mere) unless it was intentional? In any case, the "freudian slip" is actually pretty telling in what the future may be.
I assume you are young, in that you are asking about games and virtual situations, and STUFF,,,smiles. I suspect Life,,, and the Future will never be a game, and certainly our future is already being set in stone. Granted,,, games may distract some from the coming realities, but when the power goes off, who will jump from tall buildings cuz they have no X-Box to play with anymore?

Current research...
- Japanese have combined all cards into one (i.e. all bank cards, identifiction, drivers license) (some countries laws, fine people for not carrying I.D. or a drivers license)
- Animals travelling globally must have identification chips inserted under the skin (picture being scanned by a cop for I.D, starting your car by waving your hand over a scanner or purchasing products after being scanned)
- Nano technology shows potential for paticular parts of the body to be maintained and monitored by programmed microscopic robots inserted into the body (this has the potential to change any part of your body at the stroke of a keyboard)
- Integrated chips wired directly into the brains of monkeys has them interacting with computers using pure thought (the exciting potential of this research for gamers is projecting a program directly into the brain (no screen) so making the interaction with computers / virtual reality more believable more real)( this also has the potential to eliminate a lot of crime i.e. rape, murder, drug addiction)
* The powers that be will definately influence and shape our future after all, where is the profit for pharmaceutical companies if people could heal themselves with nano technology (the health industry alone is multi billion dollar industry & i dont think they'll give it up without a fight)
1. 50 years from now i believe people will be humanoids (by choice) meaning, we will be internaly wired and chipped to accomodate for health, identification and leisure purposes etc
should the human race progress down this track then
in 100 years the human race could have the potential to reach a new consciousness (i.e. all connected / wired together (like the internet today) in unity with common interests)
OR
2. Should the human race continue at the current rate of pollution & global unrest etc could find us self destruct in 10 to 25 years

Being connected to a virtual game? Sound like the end for humanity. no longer able to be other than a machine with the creator of the game always in control of you. the game, the mind behind the game will own you so their claim to leave you on in legacy.

i think of that all of us study early in existence that issues do exchange and not something stands nonetheless yet i'd in no way have envisaged how unkind and vicious some human beings could be. Mankind has exchange into egocentric, greedly and lacking in appreciate for others and this would be a downward spiral which seems to have not any end. I bear in mind a gentler time as quickly as all of us relied on one yet another, very few human beings stole from others or have been grasping or completely indignant. Neighbours helped one yet another and toddlers had far fewer 'desires' than now. desire has exchange into greed and jealousy of what others have has taken over. infants do no longer help around the homestead or backyard and older infants look to think of that fogeys could homestead and feed them for loose until eventually the day they decide for to go away homestead (jointly as spending their earnings or 'hand outs' on themselves). I desire that issues could bypass decrease back to how they was in my childrens yet we live in the worldwide we've 'created' and the wear we've completed alongside the way we are caught with.

This 'imagination' is merely the memory dependent, inputs, and ability of permutation & combination of such a person....
It is the perception levels that affords better imagination of future, beyond the skills of just the mind, its logic & intuition.
