If the family cannot care for them or they have no family ,,then yes they are better off in a home..But the family or caregiver should make sure the home has no record of abuse..That happens in alot of the homes..

As long as it is a good home...nice caregivers and plenty of activities AND the elderly person wants to go. However, there are a great number of homes that provide horrible care...probably more than not. The problem is that most of these palces will hire anybody. Personally, I would never leave someone in there.

genrly ya, tehy took kare of themslves fo 70 years tehy can do it 4 anothr 30 or so!
