i nee a book, the friendship ring series books by rachel vail, and i live in South Korea. I don't think they print them anymore but i really need all of them from #2-#6. I went to the second hand section in barnes and noble and it cost 9.54 (for 5 books) 64.54 dollars for shipping. So i need a second hand (or a booksite with the friendship ring series books) that has a reasonable international shipping price. i don't care if its slow. Please tell me if you know one.

Amazon do international shipping, however, I think they have a fixed price rate for it which doesn't take into account how many books you're buying, (unlike their non-international shipping which is free if you spend over a certain amount). My recommendation would be to try ebay and buy some good used copies at a bargain price. If you can buy them all from one seller then there's a good chance that they'll combine the shipping and be able to reduce the cost.

This is something I learned about the other side of the world... The reason you don't get a lot of answers is "three-fold..." 1. They're at work or asleep 2. The "translation" program makes "other language" questions "almost indecipherable..." 3. They (being wise and educated Europeans or whatever) know that your question is some imbecilic "American Dum Oz" question, and they don't want to "demean themselves in a negative way to their fellow educated international collegues by even "gracing it" with an answer of any kind, even one pointing out that you are an "uncouth barbaric American..." (What they don't realize with the profound "intellectualism" that we "Americans" possess, is... ...We actually "take pride" in seeing how "dum oz" our questions can get, and laugh our oz's off at people on the other side of the world who don't "get that" culturally humorous attempt on our parts to be "deliberately stoopid" for the sake of humor... The "online translation programs" fail to "translate" sarcasm, parody, and satire... And so...the "utter lack of answers..." "Voila!" and "Touche!"
