i think it depends on the way that someone is rejected. I think it's all about wanting someone or something you can't have-it makes you all the more determined!

not in the sense that it makes you horny. more gloomy, i'd say.
innocent touches with hope of more are the greatest aphrodesiac. hope not reality is sexually exciting. or sometimes gratification delayed.
