Is there any device that can convert AGP slot to USB or Serial port connection?

AGP is short hand for Accelerated Graphics Port Trying to use this port for anything but a vidio card may cause the motherbourd to catch on fire and or explode.

I dont think so. It isnt designed for devices other than AGP. AGP slots are pretty much designed for handling AGP graphics cards. The new form factor and protocol is PCI express, which you would have been fine with, but not AGP accelerated graphics port. You need to use the PCI express slot if you have one or a PCI slot, not the dedicated graphics slot.
