Usually copy (ctrl+c) & paste (ctrl+v) does the work.

But if you wanted to incorporate you javascript code in to the html code than you have to copy you code and paste in between the & tag only

Then you have to only call the script to execute.

Using "copy" and "paste" from the Edit menu which exists in most programs, or the popup menu which exists in most programs, or use Ctrl-C and Ctrl-V which works in most programs. This works for most things, not just JS and links...
