Advantages of polygamy for women having more than one husband - DIY and gardening jobs should get done quicker.
Disadvantages for women - long queue outside bedroom door some nights?
Advantages for men having more than one wife - better cooking cleaning, ironing etc. Spares when a wife has a 'headache'.
Advantages for women whose husband has other wives - housework, childcare and conjugal duties shared. Others to talk to if hubby goes out.
Disadvantages - jealousy!
Advantages for men whose wives have other husbands - can watch footy on tv while another guy fixes the dripping tap.
Disadvantages - long queue for bathroom in morning.
There may just be a touch of stereotyping in my answers! Hope they help!

Be precise, in your hypothetical polygamy are we having equality of the sexes?

Do women get to have multiple husbands as well as men having multiple wives?

If that's the case I am all for it, out of half a dozen husbands you must be able to get at least one to take out the trash and mow the lawn and clean the car. The others can then all stand round and give advice on how its done, which will get them out of my way while I live my life of leisure on their joint incomes.

Then of course if we follow it through, you could also have multiple wives as part of the group - this gives you intelligent conversation and company. If the men get out of line, then you can join forces and keep them in order.

Yep, sounds good to me.
