Well it depends on if the day falls on the weekend or over a holiday those are not considered buisness day. Tipically monday through Friday are considered buisness days to be counted.

hah this is funny.
1 business day is a 24 hour period that takes place between monday at 9:00am and friday at 4:45pm.
the problem is many businesses do not uphold to this time honored schedule when sending mail or returning phone calls 8 ).
