The name of the country is the UNITED States. The likelihood of you receiving an honest answer from a politicians about as likely as the U.S. ever being united. Seems that if you point out the current administrations lies, you are anti-American and support the "terrorists". If you happen to point out the lies from previous administrations as well, you become some kind of "Neo" something or other. Bush is no different than any other President who thinks they know what is best for the country. There will never be a 100% United States in terms of politics, nor will there ever be 100% agreement on most domestic issues. Seems people are willing to overlook the lies coming from their party and defend them vigorously. Until ALL politic ans are held accountable , Democrats will cry liar at Republicans and vice versa. If you lie at your workplace, you are out on your butt so fast with no perks or pensions. Make it work the same way for politics.

I think the problem with Bush supporters they are in denial..
I find it strange for example that when you ask his supporters why are we in Iraq they now answer to stop terrorist. ..before that it was to remove Saddam..never mentioning the reason what we were told to begin with which was to destroy weapons of mass destruction..,,I don't care about the lies I care more about what Bush has done to the reputation of our nation..When it comes time to telling the truth who is going to believe us?

I think that most of us know this. You just dont realise that we know it coz we are in hiding. I mean, we dont admit to being american or discuss it. We are very ashamed and hoping for the day that we can be proud again.

If their own common sense doesn't recognise this fact than they really do deserve to stay in their dream world.
