Men were sexist for a long time and now things are changing and we're getting closer to equality. There is a minority among men that is still sexist and the rest don't want to give the impression that they are sexist too, so they avoid everything that might depict them as sexist, even if that means they have to sit by and just take the sexism coming from the other direction. A minority of women is sexist too and takes advantage of the situation in order to get ahead and the non-sexist men let them, because they're afraid of coming across as sexists if they're not 110% politically correct.

It's the same with races and other minority groups. White Americans were racist towards non-whites for a long time and now that racial equality is approaching many non-racist whites are afraid to do anything about racist non-whites out of fear of being considered racists for daring to speak up against a minority group. Same thing.

In both cases, when somebody dares to speak up, there is always someone who slams them with the history of wrongs their group has done towards the other group in the past. Basically, some people are just taking advantage and turning the tables and being just as sexist/racist as they accuse the other group of being.

Because women are in fact so powerful.

Women have defter hands than men, even not at all, but sometimes women are so strong in every aspects,so that's why women can get away with sexism.

It is the white male politicians (WMP) fault. I am a white male and I believe this. While trying to remain in power over the years, the WMP has catered to the minority vote, the women's vote, and the special interest groups to the point that he has, in a sense, catered himself into an inescapable corner. So that when an injustice is done to one of these groups, they can more readily expect to recieve the satisfaction and outcome that they want. Now women, and minorities grow in power with every election and the WMP, and indeed white males in general, continue to lose a little more.

"isms" - sexism, racism, homophobia and bigotry of most forms - are about power. When the people without power in any given situation then turn the tables, and are then accused of being sexist, racist or whatever, ask yourself this question: whose pay packet is still the biggest every month?

Try directing your energies at something more worthwhile.

Yes they can be .The sad part is they refuse to even try to empathize from a mans position .For all this talk about women being empathicand men being dense , i think the reverse is quite true .

Granted women on average are superior empaths but many have been socialy condioned not to use that empathy .

Men well we can be dense but we try . We are like avis rent a car .
Our motto is try harder.when it comes to empathy because when it comes right down to it we do try harder to empathize with women -thanks avis rent a car
